Members can now book places on the symposium at a cost of £225 per delegate for the full weekend. This will include dinner and two lectures on the Friday, a full day’s excursion on Saturday to a number of Bristol churches which contain some very  important monuments, including the Cathedral and Lord Mayor’s Chapel. After dinner in the evening there will be a members’ contribution section as well as the opportunity to discuss any points arising from the day’s visits. On Sunday, after breakfast, there will be a total of six papers interspersed with morning coffee and lunch. Afternoon tea will be served at about 4.00 pm. Those who wish to attend on a daily basis, without accommodation, can also book places. Non-members are also encouraged to participate The various costs are given on the booking form. Those wishing to give a short paper in the 15 minutes members’ contributions section are asked to send details to Dr C J Easter, to whom also details of any exhibition material should be sent.

The University of the West of England is a modern campus sited at Frenchay and the accommodation, of single study en-suite bedrooms, in the new student village, is spacious and very well appointed. Soap, shampoo, shower gel and towels are provided in each flat. The lecture theatre that has been made available to us is tiered and offers the most up to date facilities. Attendees will be sent a map of the UWE campus prior to the event. A full delegate pack will be available at registration on the Friday afternoon.
 

A pre symposium gathering is planned for the Friday afternoon at the church of St Mary Redcliffe, starting at 2.00 pm but subject to final arrangements.
